Description

The disposable filter on the AirSense 11 CPAP machine is designed to keep dust, dirt and pollen from clogging up the internal components of your machine.

You should check the filter at least once per week for discoloration or dust. If you can see discoloration, dust or dander the filter should be replaced.

Keep in mind that all of the air that you are breathing throughout the night is coming through that filter. So, it is very important to keep in clean.

The AirSense 11 filter is not designed to be cleaned. It should only be disposed and replaced.

The number one reason for failure of CPAP machines is a lack of filter maintenance. If your CPAP is straining to pull air through a clogged filter it will eventually cause the CPAP motor to fail.

The filter should be changed at least once per month and checked for dust once per week.
